Lyra Hoops

For our production of Charlotte’s Web, our Director wanted Charlotte to be able to move around off the ground whether climbing on the set or sitting on one of the 4 Lyra hoops that was onstage. In order to achieve this, I fastened 3 Lyras to the set and dead hung 1 Lyra from the grid. This provided the Director as well as the actress playing Charlotte numerous ways to make different choices about how Charlotte moved around the playing space.
